NOISY VOICES CHOIR

Wednesdays 6:30 - 8:00pm @ Qirkz in the Hunter, Abermain
It began in 2015 with the idea to gather a few people, make some noise and sing a few songs and see if there was any interest in forming a choir.
Nine years later so so many people have sung with us since we began, we’ve grown up and moved venues several times, won competitions, hosted events and sung at cool things in our community, sang rain songs till the drought broke, survived the singing-ban during the covid years and created an incredible supportive community of people who just love to gather and sing for the joy of it!
And now in 2025 we have moved to our new home at the wonderful live music venue Qirkz in the Hunter in Abermain - come along and join us for a sing!

A welcome community
We are a social singing group - we sing music that is easy to learn, is fun and makes you feel great.
We sing a range of music and songs, I try and choose things that are simple to learn so that you can dive right in and enjoy the experience of singing quickly and songs that people know and love!
We sing together as a big group so there is no pressure, no need to read music or learn complicated parts . All voice types, beginners and experiences singers, children and adults - all welcome.
You can come regularly or drop in when you are available, so if you are looking for a creative social activity that fits in around real life - you’ve found us!
